Description
The Honey Badger Cummerbund is an innovative new product from Team Tango. The Honey Badger is a sleek cummerbund system that integrates with our Badger chest rig or any modern day chest rig with a x strap and loop velcro backing. Allowing for the user to have a snug fitting cummerbund and at the same time elastic pouches on the side for storing extra gear and ammunition.
The Honey Badger was developed to address two problems with modern day minimalist chest rigs. First chest rigs are attached with a simple nylon strap along the back of the user which leads to user strain and lots of movement of the chest rig when the user engages in extraneous activity.
Two the inability to attach equipment along the sides as seen in plate carriers, therefore only allowing the equipment to be placed in the front and not dividing the weight equally which can also lead to user strain after long periods of use.
To Solve this problem we here at Team Tango created the Honey Badger Cummerbund system.
The Cummerbund itself is made from a strong but very elastic nylon that will conform to the user but be snug enough to keep the equipment in place as the user moves. There is loop in the front which can attach to any chest rig with velcro, similar to our Badger system. The back has two buckles that can attach with most x strap buckles
The sides of the Honey Badger also has 3 pouches on each side sewn into the cummerbund ranging from small (pistol, flash lights or knives), medium (ar15 mags) and large (7.62x51mm mags, first aid kits or radios).
The Honey Badger was designed for the well prepared citizen, law enforcement or military that needs a chest rig that will comfortably stay on their body while adding room for more gear.
